Our Members

Provincial/Territorial Member Associations

NWAC works in close partnership with Provincial and Territorial Member Associations (PTMAs) across Canada to advance our shared mission. These autonomous organizations represent Indigenous women, girls, Two-Spirit, and gender-diverse people within their respective regions.  PTMAs provide crucial local leadership and culturally relevant programming while contributing regional perspectives to national advocacy efforts. This collaborative structure ensures NWAC’s work remains connected to diverse community needs and priorities across Turtle Island and Inuit Nunangat.  Through coordinated action and knowledge sharing, NWAC and PTMAs strengthen each other’s capacity to create meaningful change. Together, we form a powerful network that amplifies Indigenous voices and advances rights at all levels of governance.
